We stayed at Caracol Che for my brothers wedding and had the most amazing time. Everything was put together perfectly from the house, decor, landscape, etc. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Rincon for a nice a relaxing but elegant get away.

I recently stayed at Carachol Che for a friend's wedding. The house is beautiful and well maintained with several nice gathering spaces large enough for a group of people to enjoy but it also his hidden niches where you can get away from the group for a little rest and relaxation. The salt water pool was enjoyable and relaxing and the gardens were naturally serene and stunning. I think the most important thing to note about the Villa is the owner, Carlos, who went to the moon and back to make sure that everyone was having a wonderful time. I was thoroughly amazed by the beauty Carlos has created at his villa. The variety of plants and the flow of his landscape made for some very relaxing walks around the property. I can't imagine a more ideal place to be. My husband and I stayed at Caracol Che with friends for their wedding and we were lucky enough to score the private bungalow with outdoor shower! We loved it! Each night we could hear the waves crashing on the beach, watch the tree frogs hop across the see-through roof and enjoy the fresh scent of cedar filling our lungs. I would wake to the most amazing view of the bay around sunrise and truly knew what heaven on earth feels like. Carlos is amazing! Fun! Sweet! Sincere! I love him dearly! I loved the pool and the walk to the beach was easy. At night I walked in the neighborhood and was struck by all the different floral scents with each step. I will definitely be back!

This was a rather ideal locale for my wife and I. We were visiting with our good friends for their wedding, which took place on the grounds. Carlos, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and was there for anything we needed. He was fabulous in every way, we had a great connection with him and he and his staff took very good care of us. The house is secluded, near the beach, bustling with nature, and screams relaxation in that oh-so-perfect quiet pitch. From the outdoor bedroom bungalow, to the hammocks, to the waterfall pool we couldn't have been happier. The cleaning crew came through each day and did a great job picking up after our lazy, vacationing butts! It was cool seeing all the pictures of famous people that had stayed there previously. Hi my name is Ivonne from Chicago, I just came back from vacation on Sept. 2nd. from Caracol Che. I give 5 stars to this place. Everything was excellent I didn't want to come home this place is breath taking. The video and pictures on the web are very nice but when you are there you feel all the beauty and it is better than the video and the pictures. Every morning I would get up, make cafe, and enjoy the balcony near the kitchen, looking out at the ocean and hearing all the sounds, all I kept saying to God was I want a place like this. The tropical plants are wonderful all over around the house the smell is just fresh clean, it is a great place to relax, it is a very clean place and all around very well kept. Carlos, the owner, is a wonderful person and very helpful, I felt like part of the family, he explained everything that we needed to know as soon as we got there and showed us how everything works. Carlos is great and made me feel like home. Nearby the Taboo restaurant is very good. I am coming back, it is so wonderful I don't care about doing anything else, just relax, Caracol Che has a great pool. Carlos had bought groceries for me before I came to the property. I had sent him email with a list of food and drinks that I needed at the house. I paid Carlos for the groceries when I got there, he was so kind to get it for me before I got there. I recommended this property to my relatives and friends and they are going there on their next vacation. It is very easy to get to the property, go and enjoy your next vacation like we all did I'm very happy I went!

Caracol Che is a place where you forget all of your troubles and you can live a few days of carefree living. We had our wedding there this July and it was amazing. Everyone who we invited was absolutely thrilled to be there because of how beautiful and relaxing it was. Carlos made sure everything went well and our wedding planner who Carlos assigned was amazing. Playing billiards, swimming in the pool, hanging out in the hot tub, and relaxing in the hammock are just a few things that Caracol Che has to offer. My husband and I enjoyed the villa along with all of his family and when it was time to leave we did not want to go. My favorite thing about Caracol Che is the private honeymoon suite. It had a outdoor shower which was so cool and it is separate from the actual villa. It even has a clear roof so that you can see the stars at night and the beautiful skies in the morning. We will definitely be coming back to Caracol Che and we would recommend this enchanting place to everyone!

The property is clean, elegant, and peacefully private. It was a great location and the beach was in a short walking distance. The ocean could be seen from each level of the villa. Everything was very well kept with great attention to detail (Fresh flowers everyday around the house, ect). However, what really made this an amazing place was the hospitality. This is one of those places that would make anyone want to chuck it all and stay in Ricon forever. The property is beautifully maintained. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The lagoon beckons you even in the rain. Even though the beach and town are within walking distance I did not want to leave this villa. Everything you need is right there. With access to grills, a large modern kitchen, a bar on the lagoon level, a jacuzzi and meditation area, there was no need to leave the grounds. All of this set in lush caribbean vegetation. I love this place. I was there for a wedding but I'm looking for any excuse to go back!

When I was planning my wedding I looked at different locations, I had been in contact with Carlos from day one that I saw the private Estate online, and when I flew in to Puerto Rico, he ensured that he was available to give us a tour or the Estate, once I walked in I knew it was paradise, and I wouldn't want to leave, seriously speaking this place is amazing every single detail of the location, atmosphere and design was carefully detailed and thought through. This place reminds me of heaven, it was amazing and it's a place you would go to Puerto Rico and not want to leave the house because you have everything you need and the privacy is like no other. Me and my husband plan to go back and visit every year if possible because Caracol Che almost feels like home but just even more amazing. Carlos can accomodate anything for you and you should take advantage of those services because it will help make the experience even better, the food is excellent from breakfast to dinner I loved it. The honeymoon suite, alone I have no words to explain how it felt, I was so sad to leave because it had an outdoor shower surrounded by bambo and it felt you were taking a shower in the middle of a jungle with birds singing in background the great outdoor fresh smell and it felt like it was just you so peaceful and relaxing, the suite had a clear ceiling so you would feel the nature in doors, when it rained I could see the raindrops fll and even better hear it, I miss my honeymoon suite the most. I truly recommend this place it's paradise and I love all the staff, my family and friends felt the same way and they stated my wedding was a great experience, they felt they were in a movie. I couldn't say it any better its truly special and I wouldn't change one thing.

From the moment we arrived at Caracol Che we felt right at home and taken care of. The tropical trees and plants were beautiful and it was like staying in paradise, even the fragrances from the flowers were wonderful. Each room was decorated tastefully and was very clean. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and Carlos made us feel so welcome. Having our daily needs taken care of by Marilyn was a bonus. There was so much space to spread out and everyone could either do their own thing or be with others at any time. We were fortunate to have chosen Caracol Che for our son's wedding. No one from our 9 member party had every been to Rincon but the reviews were enticing. The trip exceeded all expectations - for several reasons. First of all, there's the natural beauty of the property - the pictures on the web site are no exaggeration - in fact they may actually be modest. You can enjoy the pool and its waterfall, walk the gardens, pick up a ripe coconut, enjoy the jacuzzi, relax in the meditation spot, take in the sunset on the roof, etc. When is the last time you recieved a business card with the title "Owner/Concierge?" That's the role that Carlos plays to perfection at Caracol Che. He connected us with everything we needed for the wedding and the leisure days before and after. All we had to do is show up to the wedding and decide what we wanted to do during the rest of the week. Take his suggestions on restaurants for those nights that you don't dine at the villa. He treated us like royalty. You're only a short walk away from taking in some local island life in some small restaurants or a short drive to some larger estabishments. Don't let the drive from San Juan discourage you. The highway is four lane for most of the trip. You can also get a better feel for real island living during the drive. One of the guests came from Orlando and indicated that flights into the Rincon airport were priced very similar to San Juan. My guess is that Carlos would arrange to pick you up - if he doesn't do it himself. Absolutely no security concerns. Locals, surfers, stores, bars, restaurants - everyone treated us very well. Domestically, we've stayed at premier locations in Napa, San Fran, Tucson, Phoenix, San Diego, Santa Fe, Palm Springs, Charleston, all along the Mid, Upper and Lower Atlantic - this ranks right at the top in all around enjoyment.

In February of 2010 we had booked a nice place to celebrate our destination wedding in the west coast of Puerto Rico...2 weeks into planning we were told that there was a problem with double booking of the location so I had to find a new venue...What a blessing this turned out to be!!! We searched the internet and found Caracol Che...It is just such a beautiful place. I contacted the owner Carlos immediately. He was delightful over the phone and without looking at the place we booked it. Later in the spring we visited Caracol Che to see our wedding venue and meet Carlos. It was a great day. Carlos welcomed us and showed us the estate. Caracol Che is an amazing place. The beautiful pictures online are no match for the real thing. We were so excited that we would get to spend our wedding weekend at Caracol Che. Throughout the entire wedding planning process Carlos helped us with the vendors recommending the best services and ensuring every thing was set for our wedding weekend. When we finally arrived in Caracol Che we were thrilled! Carlos welcomed us and our family and friends with a great attitude and excitement. Even under the stress of the wedding we were relaxed and enjoying every minute of our stay because Caracol Che is that kind of place... very very very serene. Carlos worked with all the vendors and helped set-up all the decorations…he also had great ideas for setting up the wedding and reception areas. The day of the wedding we did nothing but relax…Carlos and the vendors and friends and family did it all! Our wedding day was a dream come true. We had the ceremony at the garden and then the reception up in the beautiful deck. The wedding march was just like in a movie…we all marched down the beautiful entry way stairs decorated by hanging linens. Then we marched down through the garden stairway that was adorned by flowers and listening to the tunes of the violins played by Violines Galanterien (highly recommend them if you want Violinist at your wedding). The garden was set-up above my expectations – Thanks to Marilu Bonet who did all the flower decorations throughout the wedding and reception (Also highly recommend her for the great design work and professionalism). We also went to the beach for wedding pictures. Carlos was our marriage officiant and he did a great job. We couldn't ask for more from him. He was truly a tremendous help through the wedding process and a great host. Carlos was a stranger to us back in February but he will remain a good friend of ours for many years to come. All our wedding guests raved about the villa and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. And I honestly think it was the enchantment of Caracol Che that made it such an amazing wedding. Caracol Che has it all... whether we were in the amazing grotto pool, the beautiful deck with views that are spectacular or taking a stroll down the beach which is beautiful and walking distance from the villa, or drinking a glass of champagne in the jaccuzzi or playing pool, or having drinks with our friends at the bar there is always something to keep you relaxed. We also had the convenience of going to buy groceries in the nearby town, eating and dinning in great beachfront restaurants, going out for drinks and dancing at a local beachfront bar just 2 minutes from Caracol Che. I highly recommend Caracol Che to celebrate your wedding or for a vacation stay…There is no place like Caracol Che. It is a great deal price wise for the luxury you will receive. We will definitely be staying there many more times.

Where to start? The Level of confidence in working with Carlos, for a period of 5 months prior to our arrival, we coordinated this trip. Being a Native citizen of Puerto Rico helped me be more familair with the area then most would be who have never come to this island. Carlos will make your reservation smooth and easy to manage, his attention to detail, Impeccable, from the pre-arrival grocery shopping list and liquor and fresh fruit list to his daily appearances with fresh bakery bread and warming personality, Carlos is what makes Caracol Che a destination vacation like non other. Carlos was always just a phone call away, day or night. Marilin, greets you every morning and besides regular house cleaning bed sheet's washed and made ready, we also paid her to do our personal laundry as a value added service, and she obliged cheerfully every time. Now the Property, one word to describe it, amazing! Private electric gated propoerty fence ensures safety for those used to security in the us. the House has a complete alarm system with motion sensors. We never bothered to arm it, and we slept every day with the doors and windows to the 2nd floors all open so we could hear the soound of the wind and the waves nearby. For thanksgiving meal Carlos found us a bakery 5 minutes away that cooked our turkey and pernil, so we did not have to worry about cooking the main dishes. The Pool is fantastic for children, even better at night when they sleep, for adults, the jacuzzi made for a nice private retreat we used to share a romantic bottle of champagne to celebrate our find of Caracol Che. The Sundeck on the 4th level of the home allowed the women to catch some "al fresco" sun tanning while the husbands entertained the children either, on the pool table, on the dominoes table, exploring the property and playing "I spy" with the kids. the fact that within minutes you have gorcery stores, fresh bakeries, american themed restaurants and fast food (mcdonalds, Burger King, Subway) and the fresh seafood restaurants never let us down. The 10 days we spent on this Estate were just too short, so next year, were coming in for either 14 days, or, for 2 separeate weeks instead. Notice, I do not mention the price, How could you put a price on quality family time and kids saying, this is the best Vacation ever mind you these kids, live minutes from Disney in Orlando... If your looking for a Vacation Memory, then Caracol Che willl exceed your expectations in every way imagineable. Abuelo Carlos, as my Girls call him now that they have Officially adopted him as their "Abuelo" is the main reason this property is soo successful, you will know when you drive up the circular gated driveway, that what he has built to share with others, is virtually a Dream Home...If your thinking about renting a room at the St.Regis Bahia Beach Resort, a 5 Star $600 a night hotel on the Island, I guarantee you a far better vacation and experience.

I recently stayed with my family at Caracol Che, and as beautiful as this place looks in pictures and videos, they simply do not do it justice. Caracol Che is a veritable piece of paradise in the middle of Rincon, PR. One of my favorites features of the house was its privacy, its vegetation make it very secluded, although it has everything nearby. The house was very well thought out and you will have everything you need at your fingertips. If, by some chance, there is something that is not, Carlos will make certain that you get it. It has a couple of bars conveniently located in the pool area, which is its most beautiful feature. You will have a wonderful time grilling at the BBQ, followed by a dip in the lagoon pool. The rooms and living area are nicely decorated, and quite comfortable. I highly recommend this house.

I stayed with my family of 4, two children ages 10 and 7 and two grandmas for a week in mid June. Summarizing, the villa has all the modern amenities you can imagine and a lot of attention to minute details. Rooms are extremely comfortable. There is AC everywhere, TV, Dish and a backup electrical system that kept us immune to blackouts. There was no electricity for 3 days in Rincon and we never noticed. The kitchen is state of the art. There is a wet bar, an awesome pool, you can walk to the beach and some restaurants, and the gardens are amazing. You can see both the sunrise in am over the hills to the east and the most amazing sunsets your mind could conceive from the top deck. You can choose to be very active with tons of stuff to chose around (Scuba, snorkeling, mountain bike, surfing, horses, etc) or just be a blob in a hammock. The only hesitation I would have in recommending this place is that I do not want it to get so booked that I can't find a week for me to return with my family, as we are already looking for a week in 2011. To conclude, I can't imagine how you can have a better vacation that this, all thanks to Caracol Che and the mastermind behind it, my now friend Carlos.

We chose Caracol Che as our destination wedding site based on conversations with Carlos and internet reviews... but WOW!! We did not choose Caracol Che, fate brought us there! This is the most beautiful, secluded villa set in the middle of a tropical environment. The villa itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, open and airy. The views are spectacular. The grounds are a "must see"; exquisitely manicured. For a wedding, every picture has a gorgeous back ground. The setting has a feeling of total seclusion. The pool area is surrounded by a beautiful newly expanded deck area. The pool it self has a small waterfall with a bench to sit behind the falling water. The roof top has a viewing area perfect for sunsets and star gazing.You will find the beach is only a short walk away and the town of Rincon is a short drive. There are grills on site and an immaculate eat-in kitchen area along with several areas throughout the house to use for dining. We chose "The Lazy Parrot" as our dining venue, on our wedding night, with raving reviews! Outside of all the wonderful characteristics I have described, our experience was solely enhanced by Carlos. He was not only meticulous in making sure everyone was having a good time but also organizing and executing all the wedding ceremony details. He literally transposed the villa into a dream wedding environment overnight. Everyone he put us in contact with for wedding specifics i.e. photographer, cake, flowers, and even salon personnel were great! He exceeded every possible expectation. And above all, he proved to be one of the kindest men we have ever met and our family is glad to now have him close to our hearts. He made our visit truly a once in a lifetime experience we will cherish for life. My focus on Carlos is to let anyone know that there are many beautiful venues in this world but when a setting is complimented by someone with such a heart of gold it leaves you with a special sense of belonging unlike anywhere else we have stayed.
